APAR status

  • Closed as program error.

Error description

  • If DB2 STAP stays up and CQM is recycled a memory object needs
to be detached from the DBM1 and the CQM Master address space.
This APAR corrects CQC resource manager routine CQC#REST to
make sure the memory object is detached when it is no longer
referenced.

Local fix

  • Anytime CQM needs to be recycled, also restart STAP. This must
be done in the following order:
1. STOP STAP
2. STOP CQM
3. START STAP and CQM
