 - IMS Library Integrity Utilities load library is included in
   the STEPLIB.
 - Neither TAKEOVER(N), ONLINECHANGE(N) nor DBDCOPY(N) is
   specified.

Problem conclusion


    

  • Temporary log data sets are unnecessarily registered to DBRC
when all of the following conditions are met:
 - NEWDBD keyword is specified
 - IMS Library Integrity Utilities load library is included in
   the STEPLIB
 - Neither TAKEOVER(N), ONLINECHANGE(N) nor DBDCOPY(N) is
   specified
This APAR modifies the program so that it will not allocate
unnecessary temporary log data sets before invoking IMS Library
Integrity Utilities for recalculatation of unique ID.
This APAR also fixes the problem that the SEARCH algorithm that
IMS High Performance Load uses under ORF by default does not
match the default of the IMS High Performance Load product.
