PI65723: PADDING_STRICT(NO) IS REMOVED

APAR status

• Closed as program error.

Error description

• ULOPTNS value PADDING_STRICT(NO) was deprecated in HPU v4.3 and
  prior because it is an inaccurate way to manage padding.
  However, the deprecated behavior was kept by default, i.e. when
  neither PADDING_STRICT(YES) nor PADDING_STRICT(NO) is specified
  for ULOPTNS.
  
  As this behavior/implementation is not compatible with DB2 12
  support, the behavior corresponding to PADDING_STRICT(NO) has
  been totally removed starting with this PTF.
