  • Although DB2 HPU issues the message
INZI519W LOCK TABLE FAILED FOR TABLE xxxx.yyyy
   WAIT(1000)/RETRY(20) MECHANISM IS STARTING
meaning the RETRY mecanism for the LOCK TABLE phase is enabled,
the utility fails for the following reason
   INZI158E ERROR WHEN TRYING TO OBTAIN A SHARED LOCK ON TABLE :
xxxx.yyyy
since it does not take into account any subsequent successfull
LOCK TABLE request.
