PI62153: DB2 ADMIN TOOL ADB5003E IN ADBTEP2 WITH SYSIN LRECL=255

APAR status

• Closed as program error.

Error description

• Batch jobs that run ADBTEP2 abend with message ADB5003E. When
  SYSYIN file has a LRECL=255 (Fix blocked), ADBTEP2 utility
  abends. With SYSIN LRECL=80, the batch jobs works correctly.
  ADBTEP2 should accept a LRECL greater than 80.
  

Local fix

• Use SYSIN LRECL=80.
