    ****************************************************************
    * RECOMMENDATION:                                              *
    ****************************************************************
    When importing a change from DDL, or comparing a source from
    DDL, the specifications available only in DB2 New Function
    mode in the SQL statements in the DDL are missing in the job
    to run or apply the change.

    For example,
    When DB2 for z/OS is version 10 in New Function mode,
    and the value for parameter NEWFUN in DSNHDECP is V9, if
    there is 'MEMBER CLUSTER' in the CREATE TABLESPACE statement,
    then import a change from the DDL, or compare the source DDL,
    the 'MEMBER CLUSTER' keyword is missing in the job to run or
    apply.

Problem conclusion

  • Problem has been resolved.

    Additionally, on panel ADB2PCO 'Options for Change Functions',
    a new field 'DB2 release number' is added for users to input
    the DB2 release number to indicate whether DB2 is new function
    mode or not when the compare source is DDL.
