    * RECOMMENDATION:                                              *
    ****************************************************************
    When using DB2 Administration Tool or DB2 Object Comparison
    Tool to use verification masking, using multiple parameters
    in the mask statement does not provide the values requested.

Problem conclusion

  • The program has been modified to allow the user to provide
    multiple parameters through the REXX exit for verification
    masking with the same format as the overwrite masking
    REXX exit syntax.

    The syntax for the verification mask REXX exit format
    is as follows:

        VER,maskname:REXX(rexxname,p1, p2, ... pn)

    where p1 thru pn are catalog column names for the DB2
    catalog table that contains the value of the attribute
    described in the maskname. This parameter passing is
    the same as is done with overwrite masking REXX exit.
