APAR status

  • Closed as program error.

Error description

  • When a multipart object is image copied at the partition level
and then recovered, the object recovery job should optimize tape
mounts. Also, to optimize the recovery we should recover a part
and then rebuild the index for that part.  Product currently
mounts and unmounts tapes and REBUILD INDEX is not optimized.
