Error description

When using z/OS Connect data transformer, asian characters
in
UTF-8 encoded response payloads are converted to escaped
unicode character by z/OS Connect. For example, chineses
characters (a simplified set) that would represent "hello
world" would be returned to the client as:
\u4f60\u597d\u4e16\u754c

z/OS Connect's data transformer converts UTF-8 encoded asian
characters in the response payload to escaped
unicode characters. For example, Chinese characters (a
simplified set) that would represent "hello
world" would be returned to the client as:
\u4f60\u597d\u4e16\u754c

Problem conclusion

The following configuration attributes need to be set under the
zosConectManager element:
preserveJsonObjectPayloadOrder, preserveJsonPayloadCharFormat,
and setUTF8ResponseEncoding.

For example:

setUTF8ResponseEncoding="true"
preserveJsonObjectPayloadOrder="true"
preserveJsonPayloadCharFormat="true"/>

The fix for this APAR is currently targeted for inclusion in fix
