• Using DB2 Object Comparison Tool to generate an ALTER TABLE ADD
  COLUMN statement with column-name PERIOD returns the following
  message:
     Unexpected token after PERIOD keyword - expected keyword
                SYSTEM_TIME or BUSINESS_TIME
  
     ADB2PA: The following statement could not be parsed :
  
       ALTER TABLE >creator<.>tblname< ADD
        PERIOD CHAR(2) FOR SBCS DATA NOT NULL WITH DEFAULT 'D'
  
       Token number =      8, Token = CHAR
       Unsuccessful parse of DDL statement.
       ADB2CID - Now terminating
