PI54689: DB2 ADMIN TOOL DOES NOT LIST ALL PACKAGES ACCESSING THE STORED PROCEDURE

APAR status

• Closed as program error.

Error description

• The DB2 Admin Tool is not listing all packages associated
  with the Stored Procedure (SP). From panel ADB21O "Stored
  Procedures", using the line command K in front of any SP to
  get list of packages associated, it fetches only the packages
  which have the same name as that of the SP. Ideally, it should
  show all the packages which are accessing the SP.

  When the 'K - Packages' line command is used on panel ADB21O
  'Stored Procedures', only the packages which have the exact same
  name as that of the stored procedure are shown.
  
  Panels ADB21O 'DB2X Stored Procedures', ADB21F 'DB2X Functions'
  and ADB21J 'DB2X Triggers' do not have a line command to show
  the dependent packages that access the selected Stored
  Procedure, Function or INSTEAD OF Trigger.
  

Problem conclusion

• Problem with the dependent packages has been resolved.
  
  A new line command 'DPK' has been added to panels ADB21O 'DB2X
  Stored Procedures', ADB21F 'DB2X Functions' and ADB21F 'DB2X  w
  Functions' to show the dependent packages associated with the
  selected Stored Procedure, Function or INSTEAD OF Trigger.
