Error description

  • ABENDU1133 may occur in unload of a LOB column, that has had
recent updates, if QUIESCE YES was not specified.

When unloading a LOB column, if the QUIESCE NO option applies
(explicitly specified or via the DB2 HPU settings), ABENDU1133
might occur because of a lack of consistency affecting the LOB
    index.

This occurs if the object has recently been updated
especially if LOB data has been inserted.

For a reliable unload of LOB columns, the QUIESCE YES
    is needed.

Therefore, DB2 HPU should have a parameter to force the
safe behavior/processing, so invoke the QUIESCE
utility when the unload of a LOB column is requested.

    PB12930 ABENDU1133 U1133 ABEND 1133

Local fix

  • Specify QUIESCE YES to ensure consistency and avoid the U1033
    ABEND.
