PI51317: MESSAGE ALAA440E WHEN USING SHRLEVEL CHANGE IMAGE COPIES

Error description

• If an update to a row on a page occurs after the start of a
  share level change image copy and the image copy copies the page
  after the change occurs, it is possible to receive an ALAA440E
  message when that particular page does not occur in a previous
  image copy.

  * USERS AFFECTED: Users of the DB2 Log Analysis tool           *
  ****************************************************************
  * PROBLEM DESCRIPTION: If an image copy contains               *
  *                      multiple partitions that are            *
  *                      not contiguous, it is                   *
  *                      possible to get an ALAA447E             *
  *                      message issued and end in               *
  *                      a return code of 8. This could          *
  *                      happen under the following              *
  *                      conditions:                             *
  *                      1) if a single image copy,              *
  *                      for example,                            *
  *                      contains rows from partition 5          *
  *                      and partition                           *
  *                      8 but not from partition 7.             *
  *                      2) an update to a row in                *
  *                      partition 7 occurred after the          *
  *                      image copy for partition 5              *
  *                      and partition 8 but before the          *
  *                      next image copy of partition            *
  *                      7. The ALAA447E occurs because          *
  *                      the starting row image for              *
  *                      partition 7 was not in the              *
  *                      image copy that only contained          *
  *                      partition 5 and partition 8.            *
  *                      This APAR will correct the              *
  *                      processing for this scenario so         *
  *                      that the starting row for               *
  *                      partition 7 will be resolved            *
  *                      in the proper image copy                *
  *                      that contains partition 7.              *
