PI48883: DB2 ADMIN TOOL ADBTEP2 RETURNS RC(0) WHEN START DB RETURNS DSNT301I OR DSNT302I

Obtain the fix for this APAR.

APAR status

• Closed as program error.

Error description

• The issue is DB2 returns DSN9022I rc(0) even when
  DSNT301I INVALID DATA BASE or DSNT302I INVALID NAME are
  returned. DB2 Admin ADBTEP2 needs to check for DSNT301I and
  DSNT302I and return non-zero return code.

  In DB2 Administration Tool for z/OS, when using the Batch
  Restart Program ADBTEP2 to execute the 'DB2 -START' command,
  the start command fails with information message DSNT301I or
  DSNT302I but the Summary Report shows RC=0 for the 'DB2
  -START' command and the ADBTEP2 job continued without
  producing a failure.
  

Problem conclusion

• The program has been modified to set Return Code 8 / RC=8
  when the 'DB2 -STA' command fails with message DSNT301I or
  DSNT302I in the Summary Report, and also stop the processing
  of the ADBTEP2 job.
