  • Forward-fit ORF V1.3 APAR PI47461.
If the termination of DBRC subtask is not clean, ORF dynamically
allocates ORFSNP01 DD to write a snap dump to SYSOUT.

Local fix

  • Code ORFSNP01 DD DUMMY in JCL for workaround.

Forward-fit of ORF V1.3 APAR PI47461
If the termination of DBRC subtask is not clean, ORF dynamically
allocates ORFSNP01 DD to write a snap dump to SYSOUT.

Problem conclusion

  • This APAR forward-fits APAR PI47461 to IMS Database Solution
Pack V2.1. The following changes are made to IMS Online
Reorganization Facility:
 - Stop allocating the ORFSNP01 DD dynamically and writing a
   snap dump when the termination of DBRC subtask is not clean
 - Revised inter-task communications to prevent unclean
   termination of DBRC subtask from occurring
