the Panel the explanation is as follows:
The tables that are displayed on the Tables with Restrict
on Drop panel will have DROP statements generated for them.
This panel prompts you to verify that the DROP statements
for the alter process are necessary. Specify YES to allow
the DROP statements and to continue with the alter process,
or specify NO to not continue with the alter process.

Using "YES" ,"Y" as mentioned brings "Invalid line cmd" using
F1 again to see which commands are valid, displays "Valid line
commands are: S,R,O" but using each of the line commands
result in message "Invalid line cmd".

    ****************************************************************
1 - When using the ALT command on a table space that includes
a table with 'RESTRICT ON DROP', the panel ADB27RDR 'Tables
with Restrict on Drop' is displayed. Upon pressing the F1 key
on panel ADB27RDR the explanation is as follows on the help
    panel ADB2HRDR:

The tables that are displayed on the Tables with Restrict
on Drop panel will have DROP statements generated for
them. This panel prompts you to verify that the DROP
statements for the alter process are necessary. Specify
YES to allow the DROP statements and to continue with
the alter process, or specify NO to not continue with the
    alter process.

According to above help information, using 'YES' ,'Y',
'NO', or 'N' as a primary command, an error message
'Invalid cmd' will be issued. Upon pressing the F1 key it
    displays:

ADB221E Cmd: YES. Valid commands are: CONTINUE
    ORIGINAL MAKEPBG MAKEPBR

but CONTINUE is the only valid primary command.

2- When using 'YES' ,'Y', 'NO' or 'N' line command, error
message 'Invalid line cmd' will be issued. Upon pressing the
F1 key, the following error is displayed:

ADB200 Valid line commands are: S,R,O

but using each of these line commands still results in error
    message 'Invalid line cmd'.

Problem conclusion

  • The panel ADB27RDR has been updated to issue the correct error
message for an invalid primary command. The panel ADB27RDR
has been updated to remove the SELECT column because there are
no applicable line commands for this panel at this time. The
help panel ADB2HRDR has been updated with the following:

The tables that are displayed on the Tables with Restrict
on Drop panel will have DROP statements generated for them.
This panel prompts you to verify that the DROP statements
for the alter process are necessary. Issue the CONTINUE
command to allow the DROP statements and to continue with
the alter process. Press PF3(END) if you do not want to
    continue with the alter process.
