Error description

  • The DB2 Object Comparison Tool for z/OS reports:
LOB table space >database<.>tablespace<, although initially
reported as dropped, will not be dropped because changes to
    partitions have been ignored.
however the APPLY job contains a DROP statement.

    ****************************************************************
When comparing partitioned tables which contains LOB columns
and the target table has more partitions than the source,
compare still reported and did drop/re-create of the table
even if the partitioning information was ignored.

    The comparison report states:

    Compare table source(>tbname<) and target(>tbname<)
      Auxiliary table >aux_tbname< will not
be dropped because changes to partitions have been ignored
    ADB7170I Partitioning changes are ignored.
LOB objects related to dropped partitions are not dropped.
Table >tbname< is partitioned and will be dropped by dropping
    tablespace >tsname<
    Table will be recreated
