Error description
The EGL variables that contain variable length SQL variables are defined as PIC 9(4) COMP-4. When using COBOL compiler option TRUNC(STD) this causes a maximum length of 9999, but be defining the PIC field as COMP-5 instead, the maximum length would increase to 32767.
