An ABENDS0C1 (or any other unidentified failure) occurs after an installation of or upgrade to HPU 4.3 product and the application of at least one APAR or PTF has been performed all together. Local fix
This problem is the result of a packaging issue. The local fix is to APPLY the base HPU v4.3 product FMID HINZ430 without PTFS in one job. Then APPLY the HPU v4.3 PTFS in another separate job. For example the following. 1. Reinstall only the HPU v4.3 base product (FMID HINZ430) without any PTFS. This APPLY should end successfully without any IEW2454W SYMBOL ISPLINK UNRESOLVED messages. 2. Then you can APPLY the outstanding PTFS altogether. Again this APPLY should be successful without any IEW2454W SYMBOL ISPLINK UNRESOLVED messages.
