Error description

  • When either the LOCK YES (native syntax) or the SHRLEVEL
REFERENCE (Unload Plus or Fast Unload syntax) is specified for
an unload processed in native mode, the unload utility uselessly
keeps the partitions of the unloaded table space locked till the
end of the unload. This prevent other programs or utilities to
access the partitions of the table space for update during the
whole unload processing because of S-lock. This behavior should
be changed to decrease the amount of time a partition of the
unload table space is unavailable to other programs.
