  • When DBD/PSB/ACB Reversal decodes an unsupported type of DBD or
    ACB, the utility causes ABED0C4 instead of skipping the process
    with a notification message.

    *                 Version 2 Release 2 (FMID=H27P220) users who *
    *                 use the DBD/PSB/ACB Reversal utility.        *
    ****************************************************************
    * PROBLEM DESCRIPTION: When the DBD/PSB/ACB Reversal decodes   *
    *                      an unsupported type of DBD or DBD type  *
    *                      ACB member, the utility processes       *
    *                      unexpected data that was stored in the  *
    *                      member instead of skipping the process  *
    *                      of the member.                          *
    *                      As a result of this, the utility causes *
    *                      ABEND0C4 or generates invalid reports.  *

    * RECOMMENDATION:                                              *
    ****************************************************************
    This APAR fixes DBD/PSB/ACB Reversal to skip an unsupported
    type of DBD or DBD type ACB member with MSGFABN0066W.
    
    With this APAR, the following problems are resolved because the
    utility skips these members:
     - The utility causes ABEND0C4 when the utility decodes the
       member.
     - The utility causes ABEND0C4 when the utility generates
       the Segment reference report for the member.
     - The utility generates invalid XREF by DDname reports for
       the member.
    

Problem conclusion

  • The following modules and macro have been modified to avoid the
    ABEND0C4:
    FABNDCNC FABNDCND FABNDCNE FABNDDN0 FABNDMY0 FABNPDBD
