PI41371: S0C4-4 ABENDS IN LMOD DSNWAAP0 CSECT DSNWARDS WHEN OMPE 00E60831 STO DB2 VIA IFI INTERFACE RESULTING IN DB2 RETURN CODE

Error description

• Keywords:  abend0C4 S0C4 0c4 DSNWARDS DSNWAAP0 00E60831

  DB2 allows multiple occurrences of S0C4's in the DSNWAAP0 module
  (csect DSNWARDS), but doesn't consider it a hard error and
  doesn't report S0C4 to applications.
  .
  When an internal threshold is reached in DSNWARDS, DB2 locks the
  start of new traces and all calls to IFI for other z/OS DB2
  products on the same LPAR sets the DB2 return code to 00E60831.
  

Local fix

• Stop what ever component is causing the IFI errors. Issue a
  DB2 START TRACE command thru a zOS console interface to allow
  IFI calls to resume for other applications.
