*                      QBE, the user received MSGDSQ50144      *
*                      'Incorrect usage of comparison          *
*                      operator.'                              *

User created a QBE query that joined 2 tables. When running the
query, the user unexpectedly received the DSQ50144 error.

    



Problem conclusion


    

  • Module DSQCTOKN has been fixed to correctly process SQL
generated by the QBE component. In the case of the join,
the QBE component had generated SQL containing double
quotes. The double quotes were not processed properly
in the underlying code.
