  *                 phase to a subprograms compiled with COBOL   *
  *                 Version 4 or earlier compilers, and the      *
  *                 subprogram is then CANCELled or dynamicaly   *
  *                 called by another COBOL Versoin 4 or earlier *
  *                 program.                                     *

  An internal program control block of the subprogram was
  incorrect after a dynamic call with ON EXCEPTION phrase. This
  caused a subsequent 0C4 ABEND.
  

Problem conclusion

• The COBOL runtime library is fixed to correctly handle dynamic
  call with the ON EXCEPTION clause when V5 and pre-V5 programs
  are mixed.
