Error description
Rational Developer for System z (RDz): RDz client 9.1.1 PLI Real-time Syntax check is taking too much time when opening a PL/I program in the LPEX or PLI editor. Using the PLI Editor, the toolbox icon from the bottom status bar indicates that the tooling is still initializing. Using the LPEX Editor, the bottom status bar shows the PL/I Syntax check does not reach the 100%.
Local fix
This does not occur in 9.1.0.
Problem summary
The PL/I real-time syntax check gets stuck in a loop and the PL/I initialization takes many minutes.
