Error description

• ABENDS0C4 during DRF shutdown.  All processing was completed
  successfully.

Problem summary

  * USERS AFFECTED: All users running IB() to build indexes      *
  *                 during recovery with DRF.                    *
  ****************************************************************
  * PROBLEM DESCRIPTION: The Index Builder interface setup in    *
  *                      DRF had a bad PLX instruction using an  *
  *                      array and moving 80 bytes of spaces to  *
  *                      instance (0) which effectively overlays *
  *                      80 bytes in front of a getmain area.    *
  *                      This only happens when invoking IB from *
  *                      DRF during recovery. Work-around is to  *
  *                      remove IB and run as a seperate step.   *
  ****************************************************************
  * RECOMMENDATION: INSTALL CORRECTIVE SERVICE FOR APAR/PTF      *
  ****************************************************************
  During Index Build initialization DRF overlays 80 butes of
  storage prior to a getmain area. This can lead to S0C4 or
  unpredictable abend.
  

Problem conclusion

• When using IB function in DRF, 80 bytes may be overwritten with
  spaces due to an incorrect subscript value. The subscript
  referenced an area before a getmainand could possibly overlay
  other control blocks.
