Error description
PI27125 is recommended as a resolving APAR for PI17576. After installing PI27125 a symptom of the PI17576 can still occur. There is an exposure in the CQM GETPAGE collection processor that could S0c4 in a window prior to actual collection. The CQM Getpage collection recovery handler is testing and verifying retry states and there is an opening where the CQM recovery needs to be, but was not in, AMODE 64. The resolving APAR will make sure CQM is in AMODE64. . The following symptoms may occur after applying PI27125: 1. ABEND S04E R=00E7000C may occur in WLM 2. ABEND may occur in CQMOXGAX+2D5a and may cause DB2 to generate a dump similar to: DSN ,ABND=0C4-00000010,U=authid ,M=N,C=101.LOCN=::locname ,PSW=070C000090802D5A,A=0058 3. ABND=0C4-00000011 may occur in CQMMPRA1+123E 4. DB2 ABND=0D6 may occur
Local fix
Add OBJECTS(N) to the CQMPARMS parameter file to stop this symptom from occurring (stop and restart the collector to activate the parameter).
