Error description

  • HP Image Copy mishandles DBDSs of OLR capable HALDB in CAGRP and
try to process same DBDS twice if both of A-J and M-V
partition's DBDS are registered in a group.
This APAR also fixes some process error of Image Copy function
    in HP Image Copy.

    ****************************************************************
    * RECOMMENDATION: Apply the maintenance for this APAR. *
    ****************************************************************
    This APAR fixes following problems:

    - After applying APAR PI20067, IMS HP Image Copy terminates with
      ABEND U3916 ( ABENDU3916 ) and message FABJ3916E
( MSGFABJ3916E ) when the ICERPRT DD is not specified in the
JCL of Image Copy function in IMS HP Image Copy and IMS HP
Image Copy allocates DBRC RECON data sets.
The cause of the problem is that IMS HP Image Copy issues
DYNALLOC macro for unallocating spare RECON data set in spite
      of not allocating it.

    - Image Copy function of IMS HP Image Copy terminates with ABEND
S0C4 ( ABEND0C4 ) that is used by one of the following
      processes:
      - Under IMS Database Reorganization Expert.
      - Under Fast Path Advanced Tool in HP Fast Path Utilities of
IMS Fast Path Solution Pack for z/OS.
      - Under Fast Path Online Tools in HP Fast Path Utilities of
IMS Fast Path Solution Pack for z/OS.
The cause of the problem is that IMS HP Image Copy does not
create internal control block due to the incorrect addressing
      of the general register.

    - IMS HP Image Copy terminates with RC=08 and message FABJ0122E
      ( MSGFABJ0122E ) when both A-J DBDS and M-V DBDS of OLR
capable HALDB are registered in a one DBRC group.
The cause of the problem is that IMS HP Image Copy does not
remove the data sets of HALDB having same DSID from the DBRC
      GROUP member.

Problem conclusion

  • FABJDFCN, FABJDMPN, FABJDPSN, FABJFCDN, FABJMAIN and FABJOFL1
have been modified to handle the internal flag which controls
status of the allocation of RECON data sets correctly.

FABJINT1 has been modified to correct addressing of the general
    register.

FABJBLKD and FABJDBRC have been modified to remove data sets of
HALDB having same DSID from the DBRC GROUP member.

    Following modules have been re-assembled:
      FABJDBRA FABJDBRB FABJDBR2 FABJDBR3 FABJDBR9
      FABJDFCA FABJDFCB FABJDFC2 FABJDFC3 FABJDFC9
      FABJDMPA FABJDMPB FABJDMP2 FABJDMP3 FABJDMP9
      FABJDPSA FABJDPSB FABJDPS2 FABJDPS3 FABJDPS9
      FABJFCDA FABJFCDB FABJFCD2 FABJFCD3 FABJFCD9
