Problem summary
**************************************************************** * USERS AFFECTED: All users of WebSphere MQ for z/OS Version 7 * * Release 1 Modification 0. * **************************************************************** * PROBLEM DESCRIPTION: Requester-Server channels connecting * * to MQ via an INDISP(GROUP) listener * * may create false shared channel * * status entries that result in active * * channels attempting to start. Error * * message CSQX477E may be repeatedly * * issued. * **************************************************************** * RECOMMENDATION: * **************************************************************** When a Requester-Server channel connects to MQ via the INDISP(GROUP) shared listener, but the SERVER channel definition uses a private non-shared transmission queue, an erroneous record may be created in the shared channel status table. This record may cause other queue managers in the QSG to issue an internal START CHANNEL command. When this START CHANNEL is processed by the channel initiator that already has the channel active, then message CSQX477E may be repeatedly issued.
