  *                      of COBOL V5 QSAM OPEN library routine.  *

  The COBOL V5 library routine for QSAM OPEN incorrectly used an
  address with a non-zero high-order byte to access the DCB in the
  DFSMS QSAM OPEN EXIT.
  

Problem conclusion

• The COBOL V5 library routine for QSAM OPEN was corrected to
  access the DCB via a valid 24-bit address in the DFSMS QSAM EXIT
  routine.
