PI25901: AFTER APPLYING PTF UI20850, ANALYZEPART WITHOUT SYSPRINT DD CAUSES ABENDU0999

APAR status

• Closed as program error.

Error description

• After applying APAR PI22247 PTF UI20850, ANALYZEPART without
  SYSPRINT DD
  causes ABENDU0999 with the following messages:
   - DSP0110I  UNABLE TO OPEN SYSPRINT DATA SET
   - IHC01000E REORG# update process ended with error
  

Local fix

• Make sure you have SYSPRINT DD specified until there is a PTF
  for this APAR.

  APAR PI22247/PTF UI20850 has provided a new module IHCWRUPD
  (REORG# update process module) to communicate with DBRC by using
  DBRC API calls which require SYSPRINT DD.
  Since ANALYZEPART has been changed to call the new module,
  ANALYZEPART without SYSPRINT DD has come to ABEND0999 with the
  following messages:
   - DSP0110I  UNABLE TO OPEN SYSPRINT DATA SET
   - IHC01000E REORG# update process ended with error
  

Problem conclusion

• IHCWTDB0 has been changed not to call IHCWRUPD when ANALYZEPART
  command is specified.
