    Reorganization Facility:
     - Add support of the SHADOW(R) keyword
     - Add support of the XCFMAX base configuration parameter
     - Terminate the reorganization job when the internal message
       buffers are exhausted

IBM IMS Database Solution Pack for z/OS Version 2 Release 1
IMS Online Reorganization Facility User's Guide (SC19-4103-00)
    ----------------------------------------------------------------
    Using IMS Online Reorganization Facility
    > HRFSYSIN DD statement
    > > HRFSYSIN DD statement keywords
    > > > SHADOW keyword

    SHADOW keyword
This keyword is used to indicate whether all shadow data sets
exist as your predefined shadows or if the shadows are to be
deleted or defined by Online Reorganization Facility.
    This keyword is optional.
    The options are:
     - SHADOW(A) to indicate that IMS Online Reorganization Facility
deletes or defines them using the attributes of the original
      data sets.
     - SHADOW(E) to indicate that the shadows exist and have been
predefined. This option can be useful when the cluster
definition needs to be changed and is different than the
original data set attributes, such as amount of space, and
      other attributes.
    NEW:
    |- SHADOW(R) to indicate that IMS Online Reorganization Facility
    | deletes or defines them using the attributes of the original
    | data sets. When SHADOW(R), the allocated size of the original
    | data sets is used for the primary allocation size. This option
    | can be useful when you want to have all the database records
    | stored in the primary extent of the database data sets after
    | the reorganization.
    NEW:

    Format
    (A | E | R)
    where
      A Allocate
      E Exist
      R Allocate and resize (NEW)

Changing the IMS Online Reorganization Facility environment
    > Customizing your base environment
    > > Base configuration parameters

    NEW:
    | CHGDATAC=sss
    | A 1- to 8-character SMS data class name that is used to define
    | temporary data sets to store the change records that are sent
    | from the IMS online regions.
    | This parameter is an optional parameter for SMS environments.
    | Specify this parameter only when you want to have those data
    | sets allocated by using a specific SMS data class.
    | Default: None.
    |
    | CHGSTORC=sss
    | A 1- to 8-character SMS storage class name that is used to
    | define temporary data sets to store the change records that
    | are sent from the IMS online regions.
    | This parameter is an optional parameter for SMS environments.
    | Specify this parameter only when you want to have those data
    | sets allocated by using a specific SMS storage class.
    | Default: None.
    NEW:

    NEW:
    | XCFMAX=nnn
    | A 256-2047 numeric value that specifies the size (in MB) of
    | the internal message buffers that are used by the IMS Online
    | Reorganization Facility job to receive XCF messages. These
    | buffers are provided to protect against cases where IMS Online
    | Reorganization Facility cannot keep up with the changes that
    | are being captured from the online IMS subsystems. When the
    | internal message buffers are exhausted, the IMS Online
    | Reorganization Facility job abends.
    | Default: 256
    NEW:

    ----------------------------------------------------------------
    Troubleshooting
    > Messages and codes
    > > Messages

    NEW:
    | HRF01575E Internal message buffer allocation failed
    | Explanation: IMS Online Reorganization Facility could not
    | allocate the internal message buffers that are used for
    | receiving XCF messages.
    | System action: The process terminates.
    | User response: Adjust the size of the internal message buffers
    | by specifying the XCFMAX parameter in the base configuration
    | module. For more information, see "Base configuration
    | parameters".
    |
    | HRF01576E Internal message buffers are exhausted
    | Explanation: The internal message buffers that are used to
    | receive XCF messages are exhausted.
    | System action: The process terminates.
    | User response: Increase the size of the internal message
    | buffers by specifying the XCFMAX parameter in the base
    | configuration module. For more information, see "Base
    | configuration parameters".
