PI21806: ONCODE 1040 CAUSES LOOP WHEN CATOUT DD HAS ABENX37 ERROR

Error description

• The DB2 Object Comparison Tool for z/OS loops with an ONCODE1040
  when the CATOUT DD has an out of space condition ( ABENDx37 ).

  ONCODE condition 1040 is raised when compare source or target
  is from DDL that is large, and the version file allocated by
  Object Compare can not store all version records.
  

Problem conclusion

• The ONCODE condition 1040 loop has been resolved.  Please
  refer to the DB2 Object Comparison Tool for z/OS User's Guide
  and Reference, Version 10, Release 2, and Version 11, Release
  1, 'Chapter 14.  Comparing a large number of objects' for
  guidance on how to increase the SPACE in the JCL.
