PI21708: DBD/PSB/ACB REVERSAL PROVIDES IMS RELEASE AND DECODED DATE IN DECODED SOURCES

Error description

• This APAR enables DBD/PSB/ACB Reversal to provide IMS release
  and decoded date in the decoded DBD/PSB sources.
  
  This enhancement is being implemented as a result of following
  RFE requirement:
  - RFE 32442

  *                 who use the DBD/PSB/ACB Reversal utility.    *

  * PROBLEM DESCRIPTION: This APAR enhances the DBD/PSB/ACB      *
  *                      Reversal utility to print the following *
  *                      information together with the converted *
  *                      IMS DBDGEN or IMS PSBGEN utility        *
  *                      control statements:                     *
  *                       - The date and time when the DBD, PSB, *
  *                         or ACB control block was converted   *
  *                         to IMS DBDGEN or IMS PSBGEN utility  *
  *                         control statements.                  *
  *                       - The version of IMS that was used to  *
  *                         create the control block.            *

  * RECOMMENDATION:                                              *

  This APAR enhances the DBD/PSB/ACB Reversal utility to print the
  following information together with the converted IMS DBDGEN or
  IMS PSBGEN utility control statements:
  
   - The date and time when the DBD, PSB, or ACB control block was
     converted to IMS DBDGEN or IMS PSBGEN utility control
     statements.
   - The version of IMS that was used to create the control block.
  
  The information is printed in the prologue part at the top of
  the generated result. The following is an example of the
  prologue part:
  
           TITLE   'ASSEMBLE OF DBDNAME=DSCLSDVN '
  *        DSNAME=IMSVS.DBDLIB
  *        VOL=IMSVS
  *        DBDGEN DATE 11/22/2013 TIME 19.49
  *        DECODE DATE 08/01/2014 TIME 10.18.54
  *        IMS VERSION 13.1
  
  If OPTION ACB_GSAM=YES is specified and IMS PSBGEN utility
  control statements for GSAM PCBs are converted from a PSB
  when processing a ACB, the version of IMS that was used to
  create the PSB is printed in the comment part of the GSAM PCB.
