Error description

  • The QMF Version 11 enhanced LIST TABLES (and LIST ALL which
includes the listing of tables) performs much slower in QMF 11
than QMF 10.

* PROBLEM DESCRIPTION: Users who are running the QMF V11.1     *
*                      enhanced list view definitions (users   *
*                      who ran V11.1 install job DSQ1BUDV),    *
*                      can notice decreased performance when   *
*                      issuing the LIST TABLES or LIST QMF     *
*                      commands.                               *

* RECOMMENDATION:                                              *
****************************************************************
The degradation of performance was caused by changes made in
QMF V11.1 to the views that are used with the LIST TABLES and
LIST QMF commands.

  • The views defined within job DSQ1BUDV were updated to improve
performance.
