APAR status

Error description

• ABENDS0F8 RSN18 can occur when DB2 Sort is executing on a system
  with zIIP processors, enabled for zIIP processing and data space
  is being used for sort data.

Local fix

• As a work around, you can run the job adding a $DB2PRM$ DD
  pointing to a FB LRECL 80 data set with the following parameter:
  
    NOZIIP=BIN
  
  BACKGROUND.
  The problem has to do with accessing a dataspace.
  When DB2SORT accesses the dataspace, it is done so in AR mode
  but zIIP processing cannot be done in AR mode.
  
  The NOZIIP=BIN will not suspend all zIIP processing, but instead
  bypass zIIP processing in the proper phase of DB2Sort to avoid
  the issue.
