When a value for field GrpAttch ( DB2 group attach name ) is specified in the IBM Tools Customizer for z/OS panel CCQPCDB 'Create DB2 Entries' with no SSID, all generated job templates contain a DSN SYSTEM() statement, rather than the expected DSN SYSTEM(GroupAttachName) statement. 2. The IBM Tools Customizer for z/OS input field description text has been revised to accommodate a new input field length increase.
Problem conclusion
Problems have been resolved where all job templates that reference &CCQ_DB2_SSID has been changed to now reference &CCQ_DB2_CONNID which will resolve to either the Subsystem ID or Group Attach Name accordingly. Jobs that reference a connection statement should resolve/show as DSN SYSTEM(GroupAttachName) when a Group Attach Name is specified with no SSID. NOTE: Jobs that reference a connection statement should resolve / show as DSN SYSTEM(GroupAttachName) when a value for field GrpAttch ( DB2 group attach name ) is specified in the IBM Tools Customizer for z/OS panel CCQPCDB' Create DB2 Entries' with no SSID.
