APAR status

• Closed as program error.

Error description

• On certain inbound SIP messages, the SIP Proxy reports a
  parsing error which results in an "Internal Server Error"
  message sent to the client.

Problem summary

  * PROBLEM DESCRIPTION: The SIP Proxy is unable to parse the    *
  *                      message.   It results in an "Internal   *
  *                      Server Error" response.                 *

  The SIP Proxy is unable to parse the message.   A parsing error
  occurs in the routing information portion of the message.    It
  results in an "Internal Server Error" response.
  

Problem conclusion

• We fixed the code to catch the parsing error.
  
  The fix for this APAR is currently targeted for inclusion in
  fix pack 8.5.5.4.  Please refer to the Recommended Updates
