PI18097: IOHZDRD2 ABENDU4021 DUE TO IOHPRNT STORAGE SHORTAGE

APAR status

• Closed as program error.

Error description

• On attempted RENAME, ABENDU4021 from IOHZDRD2 due to storage
  shortage.  Abend preceded by MSGIOH567E:
  IOH567E GETMAIN FAILED FOR MSG BUFF IN IOHPRNT
  IOHPRNT message buffers are filled with the following messages:
  IOH4728E RESPONSE PGM(xxxxxxx ) MBR(xxxx    ) CC(  xx)
    CCTXT(REFERENCED BY TRAN) ERRT(xxxxxx  )
  
  IOH4722E IMS SCI DELETE CMD CALL FAILED RC=0200000C REASON
    CODE=00003008
  IOH4723E    CTL RC=0200000C REASON CODE=00003008.
  CSLN054I  None of the clients were successful.
  IOH4725E    CMDERR RC=0000000C REASON CODE=00003004
  IOH4726E CMDERR no requests were successful.
     It appears IOHZDRD2 is looping, issuing CSLOMCMD DELETE calls
  again and again, which result in the messages above.  IOHPRNT is
  getmaining message buffers to hold these error messages.

Problem conclusion

• IOHZDRDx did not handle the RENAME function in IMS DRD
  scope=global properly.  It has been corrected.
