Error description
Rational Developer for System z - RDz - v8.5.1.4 Description : The Cobol real time syntax check does not support the "IN" keyword in the "MOVE LENGTH IN" command. Steps to reproduce : You need a Cobol program with commands as shown after : move length of ktsc101-i1 to lng-input in ktsc101-ii move length in ktsc101-o1 to lng-output in ktsc101-ii Open the Cobol program in the RDz editor. The Real Time Syntax Check will only accept the first syntax (move length of), but both constructions works when customer compiles Cobol code containing this. A warning appears for the MOVE LENGTH IN command line : "dataName" is invalid. The real time syntax check should support both syntaxes.
