Error description

• The expected result of a stored procedure is unexpectedly
  truncated to one character.
  Prior releases of QMF returned the expected string.

  *                      stored procedure output parms are       *
  *                      truncated if a global variable is       *
  *                      used to represent the output parm.      *

  A coding error was made in PM96192's fix, which fixed the
  reported problem but introduced a new problem by causing output
  values from a stored procedure to be truncated, if the parm
  was defined as a global variable.  The length of the GV rather
  than the length of the data was used to process the data.
  

Problem conclusion

• The faulty code introduced in PM96192 has been removed and
  a different solution was found to address the problem
  originally reported for PM96192.
