APAR status

• Closed as program error.

Error description

• When using the new MVSDS module in Apache 8.5.5.1, a shared ENQ
  is created and not released for datasets that are browsed.
  This is due to the file stream not being properly closed by the
  code.
  

Local fix

• The only way to release the ENQ is to recycle the IHS instance.
  

Problem summary

  The file stream that is opened to access the MVS dataset is
  not properly closed.  This leaves a shared ENQ on the dataset
  that is not freed.
  

Problem conclusion

• The code was changed to properly close the file stream.
  
  This fix is targeted for IBM HTTP Server fix packs:
   - 8.5.5.3
