PI13147: PANEL ADBPC15 'CM - EXPORT CHANGES' WITH A FILTER SHOWS UNEXPECT ED CHANGES WHICH DO NOT MATCH THE FILTER

Error description

• The DB2 Administration Tool for z/OS' panel ADBPC15 'CM - Export
  Changes' when used with a filter shows unexpected changes which
  do not match the filter.
  This is due to an undocumented feature which causes
  prerequisite changes to be included, this APAR will change the
  help panel and documentation to explain the feature.

  The user reported when using Option '5 - Export Changes' to
  Export a change on panel ADB2C1 'Manage Changes', panel
  ADBPC15 'CM - Export Changes' the filtered results were not
  correct, as it appears to display changes which did not match
  the filter.  The behavior was correct, however both the
  filtered and prerequisites changes that are associated with
  the filtered change are displayed on panel ADBPC15 'Export
  Changes'.

  Version 10, Release 2 User's Guide and Reference and DB2
  Administration Tool for z/OS Version 11, Release 1 User's
  Guide and Reference:has been changed to explain the behavior.
  
  Help Panel ADBHC1 change:
  
  When you use Option 1 to display changes, or Option 5 to export
  changes, you can qualify the search by using the additional
  search criteria fields at the bottom of the screen. These
  fields are valid only for Option 1 (Display changes) and Option
  5 (Export changes).  When you use Option 5 to export changes,
  the filtered changes and prerequisite changes that are
  associated with the filtered changes are displayed on the Export
  Changes panel. The values of 'Created within' and 'Altered
  within' are compared against a TIMESTAMP type column.

  About this task
  
  You can promote changes made in one environment to different
  environments. You can create a list of the changes whose
  statements are to be promoted. The changes can be arranged in
  any desired sequence, and you can select which changes to
  promote.
  
  When the set is complete, you can extract all of the change
  statements to a single file. The file might then be imported
  in a different environment. As in the current promote process,
  a change type of COMPARE is created and marked COMPLETE
  when the promote has ended. The statements are used by the
  existing import function to carry out the change in the target
  environment.
  
  When exporting changes:
  
  If the exported SQL statements affect objects for which
  pending changes exist, then the system determines whether the
  change becomes a prerequisite change for those pending
  changes.
  
  You can create a single change by exporting multiple files at
  the same time. All types can be part of the same export.
  
  When you export SQL statements into a change, the version of
  DB2  that is on the system must support the SQL statements
  that you are exporting.
  
  The following steps described how to specify changes to export
  from panel ADBPC15. You can also issue the 'EX - Export
  changes' line command on panel ADB2C11 'CM - Changes' to
  select changes to export individually.  When you enter the 'EX -
  Export changes' command, you then can view all selected
  changes on the ADBPC15 panel.
  
  You can use the search criteria fields on panel ADB2C1 to
  qualify changes. The filtered changes and prerequisites
  changes are then displayed on panel ADBPC15.
