Error description

• The DB2 Object Comparison Tool Function does not generate GRANTS
  for the related MQT Table when a change is made to the related
  base table.

  * PROBLEM DESCRIPTION: When using the 'ALT Alter Table' (ALT)  *
  *                      function to change the definition of    *
  *                      a table which has dependent MQTs, the   *
  *                      GRANT statements on the MQTs are not    *
  *                      generated in the APPLY job when the     *
  *                      MQTs are dropped and re-created         *
  *                      because the base table is dropped       *
  *                      and recreated.                          *

  * RECOMMENDATION:                                              *
  ****************************************************************
  When using the ALT function to change the definition of a table
  which has dependent MQTs, the GRANT statements on the MQTs
  are not generated in the APPLY job when the MQTs are dropped
  and re-created because the base table is dropped and recreated.
