  An incorrect component can be returned. For example if
  searching for "form:x:x" in the following component tree:
  <h:form id="form">
  <h:dataTable id="x" value="#{bean.list}" var="item">
  <h:column id="column">
  <h:inputText id="x" value="#{item.name}"/>
  </h:column>
  </h:dataTable>
  </h:form>
  HtmlDataTable is returned rather than InputText.
  

Problem conclusion

• The UIComponent.findComponent(String expression) was updated
  to return the correct UIComponent. The following JSF context
  parameter needs to be set to "true":
  com.ibm.ws.jsf.FIND_COMPONENT_RECURSE_CHILD_ID
  (true/false-default).
  
  The fix for this APAR is currently targeted for inclusion in
  fix packs 8.0.0.9 and 8.5.5.3.  Please refer to the Recommended
