  *                 use the Generate (GEN) function or Compare   *
  *                 function against a table which contains a    *
  *                 TIMESTAMP column.                            *

  * PROBLEM DESCRIPTION: In DB2 Administration Tool for z/OS,    *
  *                      when running GEN against a table        *
  *                      which has a TIMESTAMP column on a       *
  *                      DB2 release prior to DB2 10 New         *
  *                      Function Mode (NFM), but option         *
  *                      'Target DB2 version' on panel           *
  *                      ADB2GEN 'Generate SQL from DB2          *
  *                      catalog'  is specified as DB2 10        *
  *                      New Function Mode or above, the         *
  *                      DDL statement generated uses            *
  *                      TIMESTAMP (0) instead of                *
  *                      TIMESTAMP (6) as the column             *
  *                      definition.                             *

  *                      In DB2 Object Comparison Tool           *
  *                      for z/OS, when using Compare to         *
  *                      add a table or a TIMESTAMP              *
  *                      column from DB2 10 conversion           *
  *                      mode to DB2 10 New Function             *
  *                      Mode, the generated APPLY job           *
  *                      uses TIMESTAMP (0) instead of           *
  *                      TIMESTAMP (6) as the column             *
  *                      definition.                             *

  * RECOMMENDATION:                                              *

  In DB2 Administration Tool for z/OS, when running GEN against
  a table which has a TIMESTAMP column on a DB2 release prior to
  DB2 10 New Function Mode (NFM), but option 'Target DB2 version'
  on panel ADB2GEN 'Generate SQL from DB2 catalog' is specified
  as DB2 10 New Function Mode or above, the DDL statement
  generate uses TIMESTAMP (0) instead of TIMESTAMP (6) as the
  column definition.
  
  In DB2 Object Comparison Tool for z/OS, when using Compare to
  add a table or a TIMESTAMP column from DB2 10 conversion mode
  to DB2 10 New Function Mode, the generated APPLY job uses
  TIMESTAMP (0) instead of TIMESTAMP (6) as the column definition.
