PI08126: ABEND0C4 IN FABQHUK1 RUNNING ADVANCED ACBGEN AFTER INSTALLING IMS V13 APAR PM85882 IMSV13TGT/K

Error description

• ABENDS0C4 occurs in FABQHUK1 near x'396' running Advanced
  ACBGEN after the installation of IMS V13 APAR PM85882 PTF
  UI12804.
  After the IMS maintenance is installed Advanced ACBGEN cannot
  properly hook into DFSUAMB0.
  

Local fix

• Restore the installation of IMS V13 PTF UI12804.
  

Problem summary

  * USERS AFFECTED: IMS Library Integrity Utilities for z/OS,    *
  *                 Version 2 Release 1 (FMID=H27P210) users     *
  *                 who use the Advanced ACBGEN Utility.         *
  ****************************************************************
  * PROBLEM DESCRIPTION: After IMS V13 APAR PM85882 is applied,  *
  *                      Advanced ACBGEN ends with ABEND0C4.     *
  *                      When running Advanced ACBGEN under      *
  *                      DFS3UACB (ACB Generation and Catalog    *
  *                      Populate utility) to generate ACB       *
  *                      members also ends with ABEND0C4. In     *
  *                      each case, Advanced ACBGEN does not     *
  *                      generate ACBLIB members. In the error   *
  *                      symptom, ABEND0C4 is occurred at        *
  *                      DFSUACB0.                               *

  * RECOMMENDATION: Apply the maintenance for this APAR.         *
  ****************************************************************
  This APAR fixes Advanced ACBGEN not to end with ABEND0C4 and
  generates ACBLIB members with IMS V13 after APAR PM85882 is
  applied. This APAR also fixes Advanced ACBGEN under DFS3UACB
  (ACB Generation and Catalog Populate utility).
  
  IMS V13 APAR PM85882 changes IMS V13 module DFSUAMB0 that
  Advanced ACBGEN depends its structure to hook into and work
  with, therefore Advanced ACBGEN becomes unable to hook into
  appropriate processes in the changed module. Alias DFSUACB0 is
  provided for the Advanced ACBGEN utility, so ABEND0C4 is seemed
  to be occurred at DFSUACB0 in the error symptom.
  The Advanced ACBGEN module FABQHUK1 which hooks IMS modules is
  fixed to hook correctly with IMS V13 after APAR PM85882 is
  applied.
  
  ABEND0C4 problem is fixed with this APAR, but the behavior
  of IMS V13 Advanced ACBGEN utility with BLDPSB=NO which works
  same as IMS ACBGEN with PM85882 will be provided by another
  new APAR.
