Error description
Results of multiplication or division produces incorrect results on AIX compared to output produced on Enterprise COBOL for z/OS. The COMPUTE MULTIPLY or DIVIDE verbs may produce slightly different results.
Local fix
Problem summary
Divide operation intermediate result has insufficient decimal digits for S/390 compatibility. This problem has been corrected in 4.1.1.10 fixpack
Problem conclusion
New option provided. DIVIDE(NATIVE) will continue doing divide operations as was done prior to this fix. DIVIDE(S390) should be specified to produce result more comparable to z/OS.
