Error description
HDPC gets ABENDS0E0-28 under Reorg Expert if the IEAINITREGSTASK z/OS DIAG diagnostic trap is active. This trap fills access registers with x'FFFFFFFF' during task initialization. The access registers should be cleared in each task before changing the address space control (ASC) mode.

**************************************************************** * USERS AFFECTED: IBM IMS High Performance Pointer Checker for * * z/OS Version 3 Release 1 (FMID=HPC2310) * * users who use the HD Pointer Checker (HDPC) * * HASH Check option within IMS Database * * Reorganization Expert (Reorg Expert) jobs, * * or who run HDPC in stand-alone (FABPMAIN) * * jobs. * **************************************************************** * PROBLEM DESCRIPTION: This APAR fixes the following problems: * * - ABENDS0E0-28 occurs in Reorg Expert * * jobs if the IEAINITREGSTASK z/OS * * diagnostic trap is active. * * - ABENDS052-102 or ABENDS0C7 occurs in * * stand-alone (FABPMAIN) jobs if the * * IGVINITGETMAIN z/OS diagnostic trap * * is active. * **************************************************************** * RECOMMENDATION: Apply the maintenance for this APAR. * **************************************************************** This APAR fixes the following problems: 1 HDPC gets ABENDS0E0-28 in CSECT FABPUDSP around offset X'3B8' under all of the following conditions: - The IEAINITREGSTASK z/OS diagnostic trap is active. - Reorg Expert is run for a database with secondary index databases. - ICTYPE=A and INDEXBLD=YES are specified on the HPSIN statement of Reorg Expert. - The HDPC HASH Check option is used within the Reorg Expert job. 2 HDPC gets ABENDS052-102 in CSECT FABPPC00 under all of the following conditions: - The IGVINITGETMAIN z/OS diagnostic trap is active. - PGM=FABPPC00 is specified on the EXEC statement in stand-alone (FABPMAIN) jobs. 3 HDPC gets ABENDS0C7 in CSECT FABPESTM around offset X'162C' under all of the following conditions: - The IGVINITGETMAIN z/OS diagnostic trap is active. - IXKEYCKCHK=YES is specified on the PROC statement in stand-alone (FABPMAIN) jobs. - /CK fields are specified on the SUBSEQ= operands of the XDFLD statements in indexed databases.
