    *                      'NEXT' primary command on panel         *
    *                      ADBP7GV 'Alter Global Variables'        *
    *                      without making any changes to the       *
    *                      global variable, the warning            *
    *                      message ADB384W / msgadb384w is not     *
    *                      issued:                                 *

    *                      ADB384W The ALTER statement is not      *
    *                      generated because no options were       *
    *                      changed.                                *

    * RECOMMENDATION:                                              *
    ****************************************************************
    When performing the 'ALT Alter a Variable' (ALT) command
    on a global variable, then performing the 'NEXT' primary
    command on panel ADBP7GV 'Alter Global Variables' without
    making any changes to the global variable, the warning
    message ADB384W / msgadb384w is not issued:
    
    ADB384W The ALTER statement is not generated because no
    options were changed.
    

Problem conclusion

  • Warning message ADB384W  / msgadb384w is now issued when
    entering the 'NEXT' command on panel ADBP7GV without altering
    the global variable.
